I did an engagement session yesterday for one of my looong time friends. I've known Heather forever, well...11 years. But that's a long time!
Her and her fiance were so cute! Justin was a little nervous, as he's never had his photo taken before by a professional photographer, but I think he did great. And you too Heather! You look so beautiful, and so happy! Your smile could light up a room girlie. ^_^
Ah, to be young and in love. ^_^
We had so much fun! I'm also photographing their wedding in the Spring- I'm so excited!

These are great pictures. I love the ones by the car. I have a question though. Where did you learn to take pictures like this? I'm very interested in photography and I hear Santa is bringing me a new camera for Christmas. Are you self taught? Do you have any suggestions for me such as books or a specific website?

I am a friend of Heather's, and I must say I am very jealous! These are absolutely GORGEOUS pictures!!! My husband & I never got the chance to get engagement pictures before our wedding because we didn't have much time or money. I have also had a passion for photography since I was in junior high, but have not been able to teach myself enough about it yet. I wouldn't even know where to start. You are very talented! I don't know how you do it with 4 kids!!!
